Description

A Pre-Columbian style earthenware dog effigy vessel, hand-modeled in the tradition of ancient West Mexican shaft tomb ceramics. The pot features a stylized Techichi dog body integrated into the vessel structure, complete with outward-facing head and curled tail handles. Finished with a contrasting two-tone red and tan earthenware slip. Chip to one ear, tail has been repaired. Measuring 10 inches H x 12 W.
