Description
A beautifully crafted authentic Atikamekw handmade birch bark canoe model from La Tuque, Quebec. This piece showcases traditional First Nations artistry with detailed, etched winter bark woodland motifs scraped into the exterior panels. Hand-sewn and tightly bound with split spruce root stitching along the gunwales and seams, the interior features classic shaped white cedar ribs. An exceptional example of traditional Indigenous craftsmanship and Canadian folk art. Measuring 38 inches L x 8 W x 7 H.
