Hermes Paris Leather and Chinese Lacquer Travel Vanity Set
Description
A Hermes Paris leather travel vanity case fitted with a Chinese red lacquer grooming ensemble comprising two square toiletry bottles numbered 1 and 2, together with a matching clothes brush, all with gilt brass mounts, housed within the original black leather fitted case stamped Hermes Paris, Made in France. Marked D in a circle with 4611, EH maker’s mark combined with a stirrup motif for founder Emile-Maurice Hermes (1875-1951).
Dimensions of case: 29 x 21.5 x 7 cm.
Overall good vintage condition with expected wear consistent with age and use.
