Barovier and Toso, Murano, Italy, Attributed.

Pair of Mid-Century Murano Art Glass Birds, each hand-blown in clear glass with aventurine inclusions and internally cased pastel sommerso bodies, one in pale celadon green and the other in rose pink. The birds feature elongated textured crests, applied blue glass eyes, and stand upon sculptural clear glass bases enriched with gold aventurine. Some small chips, rough spots.
Height: 10 in. (25.4 cm) each.
Width: 4.5 in. (11.4 cm) each.
