Description
A set of four antique 19th-century woven silk pictures known as Stevengraphs, created by the famous English weaver Thomas Stevens. Set composed of detailed, Jacquard-woven silk panels mounted on paper and framed under glass depicting Victorian equestrian and fox hunting scenes including titles like The Struggle, The Start, The Water Jump and Full Cry. Some sun bleaching, minor foxing. Three frames measuring 6.5 inches H x 10 W, smaller frame measuring 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
