Elie Anatole Pavil (French, 1873-1948). Mixed media (pastel and watercolor) on paper, signed lower left. Atmospheric view of a winding Montmartre street animated by figures beneath the silhouette of Sacre-Cœur. Executed with the soft tonal transitions and impressionistic handling characteristic of Pavil’s celebrated Parisian scenes.
Dimensions: 24.5 x 17 inches framed to 33 x 25 inches.
Condition: Significant loss to gesso on frame.
