THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A cute vintage Chinese handmade intricately woven Shanghai weave rattan basket or box in the form of a turtle, the rear of the turtle with a lift off top revealing the storage compartment, with twig elements on the shell and the feet of the turtle of varnished wood, the base with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label stamped 325-1598, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
