Description
Cioni Carpi (Italy, 1923 – 2011) rare crayon on paper still life of four fruit, set in oak frame, signed and what appears to be the date 1955 lower right. Cioni Carpi was born in Milan, Italy but immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he settled in Montreal for several years, he ultimately returned to Europe.
Measuring 11.75 inches H x 14.75 W framed (loose in frame). Provenance – from the Estate of the late artist Allan Harrison, Montreal, Quebec
