THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A Chinese antique satin woman’s headband, of a colourul satin ruyi patchwork design with edge embroidered applique floral motif, lined in pink silk, these types of headbands were only worn by married woman and mainly for warmth around the forehead and ears, circa late Qing dynasty late 19th – early 20th century, the inside with a wax Chinese antique export seal. Laying flat, 10 inches L x 9 H.
