A Chinese antique large interesting square hand embroidered silk panel, the centre showing finely embroidered image of young Chinese people holding vases with sprays of flowers above a black cat curled up, the four corners with butterfly and insects, and interspersed with precious objects, all done in various shades of blue on a pale pink beige ground, the border also in blue with alternating butterfly and scroll design, set in double sided glass and black metal frame, Qing dynasty 2nd half 19th century. Panel measures 20 inches H x 21 W, frame measures 27 inches x 28.5 W.
