Tatossian was a celebrated Canadian painter and the youngest artist ever elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA). While Tatossian is most widely recognized for his vibrant post-impressionist Canadian landscapes and scenes of Quebec city life, he was a versatile master who also painted a series of heavily textured still lifes and expressive nudes.
