19th-century Italian Grand Tour Roman micromosaic inlaid into a polished black slate made of thousands of miniscule, opaque glass threads called tesserae, meticulously arranged to form the two dancing classical figures in the style of Gioacchino Barberi or Michelangelo Barberi. Slate measures 3 inches H x 4.25 W, frame measures 7.5 inches H x 9 W.
