Description
Signed screenprint poster in colours of Cow 11, by pop art icon Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987), featuring a high-contrast bright pink cow against a chartreuse/yellow background. Large rubber-stamped Andy Warhol signature on reverse, numbered 113, hand signed below stamp. Modernist black metal frame measures 44.25 inches H x 28.25 W. First used for Warhol’s 1966 exhibition at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York.
Some tears to poster, repairs, smudges to print on left side of poster, has been trimmed.
