Description
Art Deco style openwork 18kt white gold shield brooch containing a total of 199 accent stones and 2 central cabochons, weighing 19.4 grams. The geometry features a dynamic, tapestried shield frame flanking a central suspended focal element, typical of 1920s-1930s design. Central element features a prominent 14 x 13mm bezel-set oval cabochon ruby framed by an intricate openwork floral halo.The shield is decorated with 158 pave-set simple cut diamonds and 39 round pave and bezel-set accent rubies.The terminus drop is anchored by a tailored floral motif that suspends a round 7mm bezel-set cabochon ruby dangle.
