THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – Pair of Chinese monumental temple jars / urns with a Famille Noire decor featuring an uncommon design of Foo Dogs and mythical creatures painted around the body, the upper rim of the main body mounted with four Foo Dog heads, the lid with complimentary design with Foo Dog finale, circa mid-20th century, marked on the base with a four character, blue hand-painted Chinese tribute mark that reads Made by Imperial Order Kangxi Reign, set on decorative hongmu wood stands (10 inches in height), lids measure 8 inches H, jars measure 24.5 inches x 17 diameter.
