THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A Chinese pair of black satin lotus shoes for bound feet, the outside of a black satin hand embroidered in silk with a white and blue floral design, lined in jute fabric, evidence of threading that would have been used to bind the shoes around the feet, circa Qing dynasty 19th century. Measuring 5 inches L x 3 H.
