THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A exquisitely crafted large Chinese vintage Shanghai weave rattan sculpture box of a a goldfish with large bulbous eyes, the body intricately woven with rattan and set with carved and gradient painted wood elements, the top lifting off to reveal the storage compartment, set on a decorative lacquered stand, the base with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label 325-881, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
Dimensions: 17 inches L x 14 W x 9 H, excluding stand.
Condition: Chips to fins, one repaired fin.
