THE SIMON CHANG COLLECTION – A fun Chinese vintage Shanghai weave rattan and bamboo box in the shape of a turtle, the body and lid of a red dyed curved and woven bamboo design with woven rattan edge and set in a wood frame, the top life off to reveal a storage compartment, with carved wood head and feet and tail, the base with the Shanghai Handicrafts paper label, circa mid-century 2nd half 20th century.
