Japanese WWII Military Sword, Type 95 Shin-Gunto, which was commonly carried by army officers during World War II. With number on blade, 31205 and Arsenal Stamps. 

Dimensions: Blade measures 26.5 inches L, in sheath (also numbered 31205) total length 38 inches.
