Japanese Inro Case Gold Lacquered Horse with Hotei Netsuke
Description
Antique Japanese finely crafted four-case gold laquered Inro featuring a horse and foliate design, with attached archaic hand carved Netsuke of the deity Hotei (laughing Buddha) holding a 22 karat gold tama (sacred ball), the gold ball is not painted gold laquer but is made of a 22kt gold metal. Edo period, 19th century.
Dimensions: Inro measures 2.5 x 2.75 inches, netsuke measures 1.5 inches.
