French modernist wall sconce by Maison Arlus, model 1436, featuring a sculptural patinated bronze hand supporting a luminous opaline glass globe. Designed in the late 1950s-early 1960s, this surrealist composition exemplifies Arlus’ imaginative figural lighting and appears in period catalogues and contemporary décor publications. Unsigned.
