C. 1900s Signed Degue Art Deco Glass Vase with Wrought Iron Base, a red and blue art glass vase blown into a hand-wrought iron frame signed Degue (the professional name of David Gueron). Signed under rim, marked on rim, made in France.
Maker: Degue was founded by David Gueron in 1926 in Compiegne, France. His works often featured vibrant colors and bold geometric or natural motifs.
Technique: Caged glass technique where molten glass is blown directly into a pre-made wrought iron armature, causing it to bulge through the openings.
Dimensions: 6.5 inches H x 6 W.
