Art Nouveau cameo glass vase with leaves and berries in red on yellow by Emile Galle, France c. 1900
Maker: Emile Galle (1846-1904).
Technique: Multi-layered cameo glass, created by layering coloured glass and using acid etching to reveal the underlying colors and create relief designs.
Design: Features botanical motifs of berries and leaves in shades of red and orange against a warm yellow background.
Signature: Raised cameo signature Galle on the body.
Dimensions: 4.5 inches H x 5 W.
