Civil War Corps Badge of Lieutenant Col Orson E. Moulton, From the 1st Brigade, 2nd Division, 25th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry
He had his badge engraved just after the war dated 1866. Starting with Burnside’s North Carolina Expedition, the Foster’s Goldsboro Campaign, Bermuda Hundred and finally Grant’s Overland Campaign.

Moulton was wounded and captured leading the 25t in a charge against the rebel works on June 3rd. He would be confined at Libby Prison and Camp Sorghum, SC.
He was WIA and captured as a POW at Cold Harbor.
Dimensions: Badge measures 1.75 inches H x 1.5 W. Chain measures 8.5 inches L.
