Description
A Pair of Large Chinese Famille Rose Figures Vases, 19th Century, decorated in the classic Famille Rose palette, featuring detailed polychrome enamel court scenes, storytelling panels with figures, and elaborate floral surrounds. They have a traditional baluster form with flared, dish-shaped rims and pairs of gilt zoomorphic handles, while the shoulders are decorated with applied salamanders or dragons.
Dimensions: 25 inches H x 9 W.
Condition: One vase has significant staple repair, the other has hairline cracks. Please see photos.
