A large bronze figural sculpture titled La Liseuse / The Reader created by French artist Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse. The figure is depicted holding a book, featuring a gilt bronze patina. It is signed in the maquette and has a cartouche on the base labeling the artwork.
Dimensions: 21 inches H x 6.5 W, 24 inches H with stand.
