Description
A finely executed Victorian pole screen featuring an oval needlepoint panel mounted within a richly carved walnut frame. The central textile depicts a bird perched among flowering branches, rendered in soft, naturalistic tones typical of 19th-century decorative needlework.
The frame is elaborately carved with foliate motifs, including a crest of stylized leaves and scrolling elements, enclosing the oval panel with a molded gilt liner.
