Description
Chinese antique Famille Rose ovoid form ginger jar, the white porcelain body hand painted with images depicting historical characters from the Wu Shuang Pu – Table of Peerless Heroes, with calligraphy tables, with original lid. Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, circa Tongzhi period.
Dimensions: 12 inches H x 8 W.
Provenance: property of a late prominent Montreal collector
Condition: older repair to edge of lid
