Description
Set of four 19th C French figures representing the Four Seasons. Each season is identified by specific attributes:
Spring (Le Printemps): a young woman holding flowers with a bird on her shoulder.
Summer (L’Été): With sheaves of wheat and a sickle, symbolizing the grain harvest.
Autumn (L’Automne): Carrying grapes and a cup.
Winter (L’Hiver): An older, cloaked figure huddled for warmth or standing near a small fire.
Dimensions: 8.5 inches H.
