Pair of 19th C French Louis XVI Figural Candelabras Manner Clodion
Description
A pair of 19th-century French Louis XVI style figural candelabra made of bronze and rouge griotte marble, inspired by models from sculptor Claude Michel, known as Clodion. Each candelabra features a patinated bronze faun holding scrolling branches for candles. The figures are supported by fluted fluted columns resting on stepped red marble bases, accented with gilded bronze mounts and laurel wreaths.
Dimensions: 9 inches H x 7 W.
