An antique Italian ebonized wood jewelry casket, dating from the mid-to-late 19th century depicting various Classical scenes. Scenes are made of minuscule tiles set in slate panels. With functional lock and key.
Dimensions: 5.5 inches H x 8 W x 6 deep.
These ornate boxes were often purchased as luxury souvenirs by wealthy travelers during the Grand Tour of Europe.
