J.A. Lyone Heppner (1918-2006) was a prominent Montreal businessman and philanthropist who founded the insurance and financial planning firm J.A. Lyone Heppner and Associates Ltd. Known for his leadership in the Canadian Jewish community, he was a man of great integrity and compassion, noted for his unending curiosity and deep family connections. He served as the President of the World ORT Union for four years, from 1980 to 1984.
