Description
Antique Chinese Export Silver Goblet, the bowl decorated in repousse floral sprays of chrysanthemums mounted to a realistically modeled stem of intertwined bamboo stalks rooted to the base. This naturalistic motif is highly characteristic of luxury Chinese export metalwork from shops based in Shanghai, Canton, and Hong Kong.
Cartouche: The bowl includes a polished circular or shield-shaped vacant cartouche intended for personalized prize or presentation engravings.
Markings: Hallmark for Hung Chong and vertical cartouche of characters.
Dimensions: 9 inches H x 4 W.
