Johan Frederik Cornelius Scherrewitz (Holland, 1868 – 1951) oil on board painting showing a pastoral countryside road scene with figure and horse and cart, signed lower right J. Scherrewitz, set in partial giltwood, partial faux giltwood frame with brass nameplate.
Dimensions: Board measures approximately 10.5 inches H x 16.5 W, frame measures 14 x 20 inches.
