Description

An antique English tea set, likely made of white salt-glazed stoneware from the mid-19th century. Decorated with scrollwork and Neoclassical vessels.

The set includes three pieces:
Teapot: Features an ornate design with relief molded panels. Similar examples are often attributed to prominent English makers like Wedgwood (circa 1820-1840) or Charles Meigh (circa 1842-1851).
Lidded Sugar Bowl: Matches the teapot’s relief pattern and often features a decorative finial on the lid.
Creamer/Milk Jug: A small pouring vessel with a handle, following the same Gothic or neoclassical embossed style.
Dimensions: Teapot measures 5.5 inches H x 8 L x 4.5 W.
Drabware is a type of stoneware where the ceramic body is coloured throughout by mixing the clay with minerals or metal oxides, rather than just applying a surface glaze.
