Description

Pair of mid-century / MCM 18K white gold aquamarine and diamond clip earrings, circa 1950–60s, each centered with an oval faceted aquamarine measuring approximately 10 × 7 mm, estimated at approximately 4 carats each.

Each aquamarine is prong-set within a raised floral halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds. The earrings contain 18 round brilliant-cut diamonds total, measuring approximately 2.3–2.5 mm in diameter, individually prong-set around the aquamarines to create a bright sunburst effect.

The mounts are made in 18 karat white gold with open gallery construction and hinged clip backs. The reverse shows pierced circular supports and individual diamond settings, consistent with mid-century hand-assembled cocktail jewelry construction. The pair weighs approximately 11 grams total.

Presented with a vintage Steven & Son “Jewelry of Beauty” fitted box.
