Description
A large ceramic charger plate by the renowned Irish artist Patrick Swift (1927-1983). Swift was a prominent figuative painter who later co-founded Porches Pottery in the Algarve, Portugal, in 1968. Bird imagery was a significant motif in Swift’s work, often carrying symbolic overtones.
