Large Antique Art Deco Dutch art pottery vase, Breetvelt decor piece produced by the Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) factory in Gouda.
Designer: The vase was designed by Henri Breetvelt (1864-1923), a prominent Dutch ceramic artist known for his expressive, hand-painted designs.
Style and Period: This style is characteristic of the Art Deco period, often produced between 1916 and the late 1920s. Breetvelt’s work is celebrated for its abstract, often somewhat cubist or organic floral motifs.
