An 18th-century English George I bureau on stand executed in walnut and constructed in two parts, featuring a classic slant-front form opening to a fully fitted interior. The fall-front reveals a well-organized arrangement of small drawers, pigeonholes, and compartments, designed for writing and document storage.
The case is supported on elegant cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The lower section includes two drawers, providing additional storage, while the upper writing surface displays a rich patina developed over centuries of use.
