Antique English Majolica cheese dome and matching platter, decorated in the Sèvres revival style with deep red ground, gilt accents, and raised white enamel ornament.

Medium: Majolica with polychrome enamel and gilt decoration
Dimensions: Dome 10 in.; Platter 12.5 in. diameter
Markings: Underside of dome marked with red painted numerals “4 / 2707”
Decoration: Rich red ground with gilt scrolling foliage and applied white relief motifs
Form: Domed cover with sculptural handle; matching circular platter
Condition: Visible crazing to glaze; minor wear consistent with use
