Description
Antique Chinese Gilt and Polychrome Bronze Standing Official Figure, circa Ming Dynasty. A bearded figure standing stiffly atop a square plinth, wearing long robes upturned shoes, the face cast with a serene expression, both hands poised to hold a hu tablet in front of the chest. Some old losses to figure, back leg of stand repaired. Measuring 14 inches H x 5 W.
