Inuit Soapstone Walrus Carving, Signed in Roman Letters, 7 Inches
Description
Hand-carved walrus sculpture executed in mottled green stone, depicted in a dynamic reclining pose with raised flippers and inserted tusks. The stone displays natural olive and darker veining with visible crystalline inclusions along the underside. The tusks are separately inserted elements. The underside bears an incised signature in Roman letters.
