Large Folk Art Rooster Weathervane, Red Cut Sheet Metal
Description
Large cut sheet metal rooster-form weathervane featuring stylized comb, elongated neck, and openwork tail feathers. The body is constructed from riveted sheet iron with visible hand fabrication and surface oxidation throughout. The form is mounted to a central hinge with vertical support rod.
The surface retains weathered patina with rusting, contributing to strong sculptural character.
