Description
Large pair of Hollywood Regency table lamps by Chapman, dated 1985, featuring high-gloss black lacquer bodies with polished brass mounts. The tall, tapering columnar forms rise from stepped circular brass bases, culminating in elongated brass necks and original harp fittings.
The dramatic contrast between the deep black lacquer and warm brass detailing exemplifies the glamorous, architectural aesthetic associated with Chapman’s late 20th-century production. The lamps retain their original UL labels marked “Chapman” and dated 1985.
