Large Mid-Century Modern Ceramic and Teak Table Lamp, Upsala Ekeby
Description
Striking mid-century modern Upsala Ekeby table lamp by Hjordis Oldfors (b. 1920 – d. 2014) featuring a sculptural ceramic body with applied linear decoration in white and mustard tones, mounted on a circular teak base. The elongated ovoid form tapers elegantly toward the neck, creating a refined vertical silhouette typical of 1950s-1960s modernist design.
The lamp is fitted with a wide cylindrical shade measuring 18 inches in diameter.
