A large-format abstract expressionist work by Quebec artist Benoit Cote, signed at right. The canvas presents a dynamic interplay of color, texture, and gesture with layered ground tones energized by dramatic white splashes and calligraphic black accents.
The reverse bears a handwritten identification. The piece is presented in a contemporary gilt wood frame with a refined black inner liner that complements the composition.
