Japanese Samurai Suit of Armour and Storage Box

Armor Components and Characteristics
This set consists of:
Kabuto (Helmet): Suji bachi style, constructed from multiple iron plates with dragon themed maedate or front crest, turn-Backs (fukigaeshi) and neckguard.
Menpo (Face Mask): A lacquered iron mask, with a fierce expression, moustache and a removable nose-piece.
Do (Cuirass): The main chest piece is a lacquered iron protector.
Sode (Shoulder Guards): Tiered plates made of lacquered metal, laced together with silk.
Kote (Armored Sleeves): made of chainmail and small metal plates for flexibility.
Kusazuri (Skirt) and Haidate (Thigh Guards): Protective plates hanging from the waist to shield the lower body. 
With blue and gold lacings throughout.
Historical Significance
During the Edo period, armor evolved from strictly functional battle gear into functional works of art that signaled the high social status of the samurai class. 
Comes with storage box. Storage box measures 22 inches H x 16 W x 17 deep.
