Description

Antique Chinese porcelain fish plate hand-painted design of a leaping carp or koi fish, a traditional Chinese motif symbolizing wealth and abundance. 

The decoration is done in underglaze blue and copper-red pigments with crackled glaze finish. Probably Ming Dynasty, measuring 10.25 inches diameter.
