Kuznetsov Porcelain Factory, Dulevo, Russia Hand-Painted Porcelain Teapot with Floral Ornament
Description
A hand-painted porcelain teapot produced at the Kuznetsov Porcelain Factory in Dulevo, Russia, circa 1880–1910. The rounded form is richly decorated in overglaze enamels and gilt with large stylized red and magenta blossoms, blue daisies, and green foliage, characteristic of the exuberant late-Imperial Kuznetsov palette. The lid repeats the floral motif. The underside bears the red printed factory mark reading “Factory of the Partnership of M.S. Kuznetsov at Dulevo".
Dimensions: Height 6 in. (15 cm); width 9 in. (23 cm)
Condition: Small chip to spout tip; minor wear to gilt consistent with age; otherwise very good.
