Elisson & Co. Tinted photograph print of the painting titled Hunter, Two Squaws and Papoose (also known as Indian Hunter and His Family) by the 19th-century Canadian painter Cornelius Krieghoff.
The original artwork was an oil on canvas painted in 1856.
Krieghoff was known for his depictions of French-Canadian rural life and First Nations people.
His works often featured detailed clothing and objects, as seen in the winter attire and toboggan in this image.
